One of the most difficult things about getting into go kart racing is finding the right kart for the right driver for the right price. Many factors need to be considered when purchasing a go-kart, whether it is intended to be used as a racing kart, or just something for the kids to put around the yard in. Safety, of course, is the top priority, and value is a close second. All of our karts are completely torn down, rebuilt, inspected, and tested before being sold. The Bishop Racing Team has been around for over 25 years, competing in motorcycle racing around the country, capturing top awards in many venues including Daytona. In 2002, we decided to expand our racing into the world of karting, and brought those years of experience to the KartBoys workshop and to the tracks. We have since celebrated many kart racing victories and have decided to focus our energy on this fast-growing motorsport. Over the past couple of years, our drivers have moved forward in their classes, causing some karts in our inventory to become idle. And there are other karts we've taken on trades for more karts, kart parts, engines, motorcycles & ATVs. So, in order to make more room in the shop, we are rebuilding karts that we no longer race, and selling them to other kart racers who are looking for a good racing go-kart at a decent price. This Phantom Sprint kart has received a spring checkup and tune, and is ready to take to the track and race. The kart is complete with your choice of brand new tires and compounds. It's a full sized kart, and can accomodate a grown adult racer.

This kart is designed for serious racing, and took home a first place trophy in it's last run at Mansfield Motorsports Speedway. It comes complete with the plastic molded body shown in the photos. All nuts and bolts have been checked, all pins are in place, and all mechanical parts have been either cleaned, replaced, or reconditioned. When sold, it will be surrendered in good racing condition, complete with a rebuilt 5HP Briggs & Stratton stock engine, and all 4 wheels, complete with racing tires. All karts we sell will be ready to pass basic tech inspections at the tracks. We'll also install a gold or purple restrictor plate for the young drivers, if desired.
