A DIVISION OF THE BISHOP RACING TEAM
One of the most difficult things about getting into go kart racing is finding the right kart for the right driver for the right price. Many factors need to be considered when purchasing a go-kart, whether it is intended to be used as a racing kart, or just something for the kids to put around the yard in. Safety, of course, is the top priority, and value is a close second. All of our karts are completely torn down, rebuilt, inspected, and tested before being sold.
The Bishop Racing Team has been around for over 25 years, competing in motorcycle racing around the country, capturing top awards in many venues including Daytona. In 2002, we expanded our racing into the world of karting, and brought those years of experience to the KartBoys workshop and to the kart tracks. We have celebrated many kart racing victories and for several years focused our energy on this fast-growing motorsport.
Over the past couple of years, however, our top driver has followed a family tradition and moved forward into motorcycle road racing. This has caused many karts in our inventory to become idle. We also have lots of nice chassis and parts for many other karts that we've taken as trades for more karts, kart parts, engines, motorcycles & ATVs. To make more room in our workshop and to earn money for our racing, we rebuild karts that we no longer race, and sell them to other racers who are looking for a fast, well built kart at a decent price. This also provides a way for beginning racers to get a complete top-notch racing kart that has been set up, tested and inspected, and ready for the track.
